By applying for an additional card before you depart, you can go on holiday while having someone here at home to load extra cash onto your card for you. In an emergency all they need to do is add funds to the account by reloading at a cashplus retail outlet, or call up their bank and transfer you money onto the card. In line with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office advice we don't recommend that you take one form of money with you.
